windows Vista

Hi, I know some of you are really good with computers. I have 2 one on XP which runs perfectly and 1 on Vista that is a problem.

Windows continually shuts down KOL. I may be on for any lenght of time but inevitablly I get shut down by window executive.

I also sometimes get the following message

KLO executive unknown softwareexception (0xc000008) occurred in the application at location 0x77d19a13.

It happens even when I turn off norton and I have flyushed DNS.

Any suggestions ?

Tried a research on google with the error code you wrote above. No results.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Knights? I know it`s a pain but sometimes it can help.

Honestly i have a lot of software to reinstall not to mention all the drivers, but im going to upgrade my desktop from vista to windows 7. Win 7 Runs flawlessly, vista is garbage. The only reason to use vista was because it could handle up to 16 GIGs of RAM and had a 64 bit operating system, opposed to XP it could only do 8 Gig RAM (i think) and only offered 32 bit operating system. Now win 7 is out it can handle what ever vista has.

Warmen, i dunno if you solve your problem, but if you didn't you can try 1 thing. Click with a right mouse click on Knight online exe. (or you can just right click on Luncher), then you press "properties" and there you click on "Compatibility". There you check "run this program in compatibility mod for:" and you chose one of modes (XP or XP service pack1 or XP service pack2.......)
This might help but i am not 100% sure that this is the problem in your case... but i am almost positive that re installation of Windows will solve it
