| This is what the standard Danish civil defence uniform looks like for those who are interested There are always fresh picked strawberries on the kitchen counter A cool flower near the driveway. I call it “the fireworks plant” Turning 90 degrees from the plant and looking between the two houses. The one to the right it “the hut” They have 4 new chickens. Very curious and friendly But they had to separate them from the old ones or it would have ended in bloody murder! So for now they’re living in the old part that was supposed to be torn down, with the old chicken living next to them You can’t tell from the picture but there’s a massive chicken stare-down going down inside the little box. Two chickens are trying to lay their eggs at the same time. Everyone who have had chickens know how that goes! The corner with the chickens and the garden basin View from the upper terrace View from the upper terrace down on the lower terrace | |

| My parents' dog after she came home from hunting. She was all wet and cold so I rubbed her down and wrapped towels around her and then she snoozed off | |

| There are always a couple of frogs living in the garden basin I took these pictures when we were cleaning it This little guy was quietly sitting there in the shady, muddy end Another one hiding in the flowers “They keep staring at me. I’m outta here!” “They’ll never find me here!” Dad started sending extra water through the top part of the water fall to rinse the system, when suddenly it sprayed all over and… …This guy crawled out. This big one had been hiding directly inside where the water is pumped out! “Pff, humans! I can’t even have my home in peace!” | |

| Found a couple of more summer pictures. This is from the farm land countryside at the southern part where my parents live
I found this quote from someone who makes a strip called “Scandinavia and the world” and found it to be “Funny because it’s true”!
“Denmark is an incredibly safe aka. uneventful place to live. We have the least corrupt politicians and law enforcements in the world. We have a low crime rate, and we have never had something like a serial killer because the country is so small that if you kill someone you will have nowhere to hide, and we have a good relationship with our surrounding countries so if you try to hide in any of them, the Danish police will be called up by Sweden/Norway/Germany and asked, “Hey, we have a weird Dane running around. You’re looking for him or something?” Even our nature is ridiculously safe. We have no nature catastrophes like hurricanes, earthquakes or big forest fires. No mountains to fall from. Our biggest predator is the fox, and our only poisonous snake is only sort of lethal if you’re old or sick.
So when a moose swam from Sweden to Denmark, we freaked out! Because what if it stepped on someone!? It either got shot or hit by a train (can't remember which) but believe me, if it was still around it would most likely have killed someone, because Danes have no idea what to do around big wild animals.”(Pallas note: The moose got hit by a train) | |
